Kalshi · read-only first
Connect Kalshi in three steps.
Jockey first checks only your balance and open predictions. It cannot place a trade during this step.
Your private key stays on your device.Never paste it into Jockey, email, or chat. When you choose the file in Workspace, your browser reads it only inside that tab. The key file itself is never sent to Jockey.
01Create your Kalshi API key
Sign in to the Kalshi account you own, then follow Kalshi’s official instructions to create an API key.
Open Kalshi’s API guide ↗Your account must be verified and usable from your actual location. Jockey cannot complete identity or location checks for you.
02Save both pieces
Copy the API key ID and download the private-key file when Kalshi shows them. Keep the file private; Kalshi may show it only once.
Optional file-safety check
chmod 600 /absolute/private/kalshi-private-key
03Connect it in Workspace
Return to Workspace, choose Connect Kalshi, enter the API key ID, and select the private-key file. Your browser signs only balance and open-position checks; Jockey receives the signatures, never the key file.

Jockey confirms the connection without trading.
